Kelmsley is owned and run by Jacqueline Naish. A creative and experienced Cordon Bleu Chef trained at Tante Marie Culinary Academy, Jacqueline has worked at Buckingham Palace, The Ritz and Michelin Star restaurants. She has been on the Radio and Television sharing her knowledge and reached the semi-finals of Young Chef of the Year competition. She also won TV show 'Win it Cook it' with Simon Rimmer.

“I absolutely love food. In fact, I am possibly obsessed with it. I am constantly thinking about it. It is a bit of a problem…so I made it my job! I like cooking it, eating it, growing it, picking it and most of all sharing it.

 

After graduating from Reading University in History, I worked in Marketing & Advertising in the Publishing industry for a few years before following my heart and studying the Cordon Bleu Diploma at Tante Marie in Surrey.

Tante Marie is one of the leading culinary academies in the world covering all areas of cookery. I learnt exceptionally valuable recipes and techniques from classical French to modern European and sugar craft and gained the highly regarded qualification. Using my business & marketing knowledge, chef skills, passion, drive and enthusiasm I set up my business in March 2013 and have never looked back.

 

I have worked as a chef in a huge variety of places across the South and in London to expand my food knowledge base. I learnt to skin deer while working in my local butchers in Cranleigh, baked bread at 2am at my local bakers and threw myself into the hospitality industry with determination and an open mind before I had even started my official training.

 

I have now worked at top hotels and restaurants such as the The Ritz London, Michelin Star restaurant The Pass, South Lodge Hotel in Horsham, The Ledbury (2 Michelin Stars), The Raddison Edwardian in Guildford and Wooton House Hotel in Dorking as well as many fantastic country pubs across the South. I worked for 'Rhubarb,' one of the most respected catering companies in the industry, with them I cooked for the Royal Family at Buckingham palace. I have also catered for clients at Ascot, Twickenham and Goodwood.

 

I now focus my energies on weddings and events catering. I love to see happy people enjoying themselves and sharing fabulous food. My ever expanding team of chefs and front of house cater for all sorts of events in Surrey, Sussex, London and Kent. As well as many weddings we also cater for corporate events, birthday parties, christenings, anniversaries, funerals, baby showers, Christmas parties and more.

 

I have worked exceptionally hard to build my business and thoroughly enjoy what I do, as do my fabulous team. This passion and enthusiasm is something I cannot help but share not only with my clients, but with everyone I work with. Long may it last!”

Nicky

Event Manager

 

Nicky's years of experience and passion for exceptional customer service mean she always goes the extra mile. Exceptionally professional and always charming, she is a very valued member of the Kelmsley Team. 

Karleen

Event Manger & Chef

 

Exceptionally organised and efficient, Karleen is true team player. She works behind the scenes to ensure our events go off without a hitch. A keen baker, her skills at baking double Belgian chocolate brownies are second to none!

Nikki

Sous Chef

 

A dedicated member of the kitchen team, Jacqueline has trained Nikki as a chef personally since 2014 and she produces both beautiful and delicious dishes for our events, to our very high standards. She was head chef for Jacqueline's own Wedding in 2016. 

 

Tom

Chef de Partie/Front of House

 

From cooking meaty BBQs, to serving Champagne or problem solving behind the scenes, Tom is our solutions man! 

His fantastic work ethic and unfailing sense of humour is always welcome on our events.  

Chrissy

Florist

With over 10 years in the floristry industry, Chrissy's skill with flowers is simply fantastic. Whether it be creating the perfect bridal bouquet, exquisite floral displays for corporate events or using flowers and foliage you have grown yourself, she can make the eye-catching look you want. Chrissy is exceptionally professional and has a City & Guilds Level 4 Higher Diploma in Floristry, as well as NVQ qualifications and she has studied with the Covent Garden Academy of Flowers. 

Experienced Chefs & Front of House Staff at your service

 

When it comes to our staff, we are pretty picky. We only use chefs we have trained personally to prepare our food to ensure our very high standards are maintained. Our waiters, waitress and barmen are all experienced and receive training for every job. We have a team of over 30 staff in total who work with us flexibly across the South. This means we can cherry pick the very best people for your event.
